Political Outreach
AKC furthers American national security by advocating for US policies that protect Kurdish interests.
It is our mission to raise awareness about Kurdish allies and strengthen the alliance between the Kurds and the United States.

The United States should sanction any foreign entity that is and has been engaged in the ethnic cleansing and mass killing of the Kurdish population.
-
The United States should increase its military support for the Kurdish forces who are keeping ISIS terrorism and Iranian aggression at bay in both Iraq and Syria, including anti-missile system and anti-drone capabilities.
-
The United States State Department should formally adopt a U.S. policy toward the Kurds. This policy should entail a directive in which the decision-makers shall be mindful of the Kurdish issue within those countries who are occupying Kurdistan: Iran, Iraq, Turkey, and Syria.
Our vision is that an evident and unbreakable bond will grow between Americans and Kurds, in which each sees the other as essential and natural allies.
By engaging with policymakers and promoting legislation, AKC seeks to create a framework for lasting support and justice for the Kurdish people. Our initial goals are:
