Overview:
Meet the
Kurds
Despite America's Commitment to the Middle East
War Rages and Washington Sends More Troops
Sharing our values and fighting our common enemies, the Kurds have been our most loyal allies, proven by not a single American soldier dying in Kurdish areas during the Iraq War. Living in the heart of the Middle East, the Kurds are eager to help us defend freedom in the region, yet the US government continues to ignore them.
The solution might be much simpler..
The Biggest Secret in the
Middle East: The Kurdish People
The Kurds are about 60 million people strong, and inhabit areas within four of the Middle East’s most problematic countries: Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Kurdistan is the largest safe haven for persecuted Christians and minorities in the Middle East, with deep historical ties to the Jewish and Armenian communities.
To protect our national interests in the Middle East, we need strong, reliable, and proven allies on the ground fighting terrorism and anti-American forces – we need the Kurds. They have been our staunch partners for decades, and are battle-tested allies.
Kurdish forces have fought and defeated ISIS terrorism, and stood squarely by our side in both Gulf wars. Brave defenders of freedom, the Kurds provide a hedge against authoritarian, anti-American aggression throughout the region. The Kurds have proven time and again that they are a strong force for stability, peace, and tolerance.
